Well tonight I finished up my paper. I added some pictures, but was never able to get those opinions for the guys that I really wanted. I thought that my paper turned out pretty good.

Rough Draft

Since last class I have put together a small works cited page of the sources that I have used. I have only used one source that I found other than the ones that I used for the tenative and annotated bib. I still have not recieved email replies from three sports writers asking there take on instant replay in sports, and it does not look like I will be recieving one anytime soon. This weekend I will be finalizing my paper.

Paper

Well tonight I was close to finishing my rought draft of my research paper. I still have to rearange everything and need to add a conclusion, pictures, and a works citied page. I would also still like to add some quotes from some knowledgable people. I am still waiting for some responses to an email that I sent out awhile ago, but am not realizing that I probably will not get one.

Researched Paper

Well today I did the most work that I have done with my paper so far. First I went over my sources again and highlighted some main points. From there I made a more in-depth outline. Tonight I mainly worked on typing my paper. So far I have completed three pages. I just mainly typed a skeleton and plan to go back and add a lot more to what I have. Tomorrow I feel like I should be able to go through and finish the main points on my outline, and then be able to go back and put in some detail. Later this week I plan to look for some pictures or diagrams that will provide knowlegde or an example to what I am talking about in some of my points that I made in my paper.

Take Back

Well after my previous post I found a great article that ProQuest provided. It provided two opinions from respected sport writers from the Sporting News magazine. Each talks about their different opinions on whether instant replay should be in sports or should not be. This will add great value to my paper with having different opinions from sports writers.

Ann.

Well earlier today and tonight I have spent time working on my annotative bib. I have been using all sources that I get from the ProQuest database. The material that I have been finding from the ProQuest database has been subpar in my standards. After finding and reading material from ProQuest database and a search engine such as Google, I think that the quality and quantity side the Google produced material.

Annotations

Heinzl, Mark. "High-Tech, Anyone?; At Some Tennis Tournaments, Computerized
Instant Replay Gets Last Word on Line Calls." The Wall Street Journal (2006). Proquest. Karl E. Mundt Lib., Madison, South Dakota. 24 Apr. 2006.

This piece from The Wall Street Journal talks about the new Instant Replay in Tennis. In the article it tells about when a close call on if the ball was out of bounds or not, the referee went to the instant replay to get the exact call correct instead of going by what they would think. This article is intended for tennis fans and sport enthusiasts who would like to know about the new Instant Replay in the sport of tennis.

Here is a quick annotation that I compiled for class today. I know it needs a lot of work and can be improved a lot, which is something I will have to do for class on Wednesday. I plan on compliling most of my sources from online databases such as Proquest.
